Support the Chorus
The Bay Area Showcase Chorus is a non-profit charitable organization as described under the Internal Revenue Code, Section 501(c)(3). The chorus relies on donations to cover some of its expenses. Consider becoming one of our supporters with a tax-deductible contribution.
- New Rehearsal Location -- We'd love to have our OWN rehearsal location. A place where we'd be able to leave our risers in place, store all our equipment and a permanent home for the chorus. This would also be a place where we could have meetings, workshops, extra chorus rehearsals and choreo rehearsals. A place with break out rooms for section rehearsals and adequate lighted, safe parking would make the space perfect.
- DVD Camera -- The chorus currently owns a very old video camera. A new DVD camera would be a great asset as we often use video recordings to visually assist our chorus members.
- Microphone System -- Just as with the video camera, our current mic system is somewhat outdated and not very reliable. A new mic system would be fantastic.
